Welcome to Mhateria Relais. By making a reservation through our website, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Property Information

Mhateria Relais is a private holiday accommodation located in Rignano sull’Arno (Florence), Italy.

2. Reservations

Reservations may be made through our website or through approved third-party booking platforms.

A reservation is considered confirmed only after:

  • successful payment via Stripe, PayPal or bank transfer; or
  • written confirmation from Mhateria Relais.

Mhateria Relais reserves the right to refuse reservations in exceptional circumstances.

3. Rates and Payments

All prices displayed on the website are expressed in Euro (€).

Accepted payment methods include:

  • Credit and debit cards via Stripe;
  • PayPal;
  • Bank transfer.

For bank transfers, reservations are confirmed only after the payment has been received.

Mhateria Relais reserves the right to request full payment before arrival.

4. Cancellation Policy

Reservations may be cancelled free of charge up to 14 days before arrival.

For cancellations made less than 14 days before arrival, the amount paid may be retained according to the selected rate conditions.

In the event of a no-show, the reservation amount may be fully charged.

5. Check-in and Check-out

Check-in

  • Standard check-in: 15:00 – 21:00
  • Late check-in:
    • €20 from 21:00 to 23:00
    • €40 after 23:00

Check-out

  • By 10:30 AM

Early check-in may be available upon request and subject to availability.

6. Occupancy

Only the number of guests specified in the reservation may stay at the property.

Additional guests are not permitted without prior written approval.

7. House Rules

Guests agree to respect the property and the surrounding environment.

The following are strictly prohibited:

  • parties or events;
  • excessive noise;
  • illegal activities;
  • smoking inside the apartment.

Smoking is permitted only in outdoor areas.

Guests are required to exercise particular care when using:

  • parquet floors;
  • furniture;
  • sofas;
  • textiles and bed linen.

8. Swimming Pool and Outdoor Areas

The seasonal saltwater swimming pool, hot tub and outdoor spaces are shared exclusively with the owners of the villa.

Pool availability is seasonal and may vary due to weather conditions, maintenance or force majeure.

Children must always be supervised by adults.

Guests use the swimming pool and outdoor facilities at their own risk.

9. Damages

Guests are responsible for any damage caused during their stay.

Accidental damage must be reported immediately.

Mhateria Relais reserves the right to request compensation for damages beyond normal wear and tear.

10. Pets

Pets are allowed only upon prior approval.

An additional pet fee may apply.

Guests remain fully responsible for their pets and any damage caused.

11. Security and Surveillance

For security purposes, external surveillance cameras may be present on the property.

No cameras are installed inside the accommodation or in private guest areas.

12. Force Majeure

Mhateria Relais shall not be held liable for events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • natural disasters;
  • government restrictions;
  • utility interruptions;
  • transportation disruptions;
  • force majeure events.

13. Limitation of Liability

Guests are responsible for their personal belongings.

Mhateria Relais shall not be liable for:

  • theft;
  • loss of personal property;
  • accidents resulting from improper use of the property or facilities.

14. Privacy

Personal data are processed in accordance with applicable European and Italian privacy laws, including Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

Personal information is used solely for:

  • reservation management;
  • legal obligations;
  • guest communication;
  • tax and administrative requirements.

Personal data are never sold to third parties.

15. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Italian law.

Any dispute arising from the use of this website or the reservation shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent Italian courts.
